...two travellers in search of the world's wildlife

Images of Bali

We leave Bali exhausted from difficult driving, exhilarated by lovely countryside, full of good spicy food and delighted by the coral reefs. Within the four weeks we have actually explored pretty much every corner of the island, though of course not in great depth. So this is a round-up of stray images from all over.

Have enjoyed looking through your shots from Bali…I guess you dive and took the underwaterphotographs yourself? Which reefs did you dive? (I was down at Pemeturan and Blue Lagoon & the Channel, just off Padang Bai last February)

Yes, we had a little waterproof camera. It wasn’t good enough for professional looking photos, but at least we were able to have some memories of the colourful world under the water!

We were at Pemuteran, yes. We didn’t get to Padang Bai, but our favourite trip was to the far east of Bali – the Amed coast. We did some wonderful snorkelling there, and it is perhaps the only truly relaxed part of Bali left!
