Festivities

Loy Krathong, the festival celebrating the Thai people’s close connection with water, is said to be celebrated best in Sukhothai and Chiang Mai – we were lucky enough to coincide our travel with the last night of the festival in both places.

    Tim reminded me we went to a restaurant called Sukhothai with you for one of our monthly meals…. think it was the one in Putney.

      Well remembered! I think it was in Fulham in fact, and definitely had a proper Thai vibe – all the food came at once and our table was way too small to contain every dish. Really enjoying the actual vibe of Thailand though! Glad the photos are liked.
