Fat Ducks

We had a memorable meal at the Fat Duck last week, which for those who don’t know is Heston Blumenthal’s whacky Michelin-starred restaurant in Bray. This led us to thinking about how much we love good food, and the kind of “foodie” things we won’t be doing for at least a year. So here’s a list:

  • Trying a new restaurant every month. Thanks to Tim & Nessa for making up our tiny dining club!
  • Dining at Hereford Road before watching a film at the Electric Cinema
  • Wine tasting weekends in France
  • Food shopping in Ludlow on a Saturday morning
  • Quails eggs and champagne at Glyndebourne
  • Cream tea after a walk in the country
  • Matt’s slow-cooked pork belly and pannacotta
  • Sunny garden, hammock, Pimms…

I think it’s safe to say we’re “foodies”! And I hope it’s safe to say we’re going to be having all kinds of new and exciting food experiences during our travels!
